Great to meet you today, thanks for installing the girls' new cat door. They were in and out about 10 minutes after you left! Jess needs a bit more encouragement as she prefers the back door being opened for her due to the previous smaller cat flap. She used to have to squeeze through it which was uncomfortable for her. I'm sure she'll get more confident in a day or so. Izzi is in and out like the cat door has been there forever! The intruder cat has tried to get in twice today and just gave up and went away, so no more cat flap monitoring for me, Great! Hi Phil, Really happy with the cat flap, thank you for your work, very tidy and professional. Obi is not keen at the moment, we're able to lure him through it using a toy or Dreamies, but if we leave him in the garage with both flaps propped open he just scratches at the door to the garage and wants to be let out! I said I’d try and get one or two of one of the cats with the cat-flap. Lupin is still mainly on top of the bookcase, so it’s only Tonks who’s showing an interest! We are really pleased with the dog flap, Shiloh has been using it non-stop and got used to it after only a couple of hours. Oscar has also been using it, but sometime he still hopes for the door to be opened for him, but that’s fine, there have been no accidents since the installation. I had it on training mode for the first week...that's how long it took the intruder to learn how he could get in. Now it is switched on, Sookie doesn't mind the clicking noise of the lock too much and she is using the flap to come in from outside. She has yet to gain the courage to open the flap herself to go out though...that'll take some more time. Unfortunately Pawie is not yet sure and confident to use the cat flap. He does climb out when I hold the flap and today he went out by himself when I threw his favourite treats outside the door but using the flap entering from the outside is still a problem. Thought I'd finally send you a few pics of the cat flap as promised. Cassius is loving his new access to and from the flat and he learnt how to use the catflap within two weeks! We are also getting much more sleep although he does like to announce his arrival each morning at around 4.00 am with a loud MEOW, but at least we don't have to get up and let him in anymore.
I'm afraid I've not been able to get a picture of Cassius actually on the ramp as he runs up and down it so quickly it's virtually impossible, but at least you can see him perched on the top. Lady Bum Bum is a bit puzzled by the hole in the wall and keeps staring at the whole building wondering if it is going to collapse on her. She used the catflap last night! Didn't have my phone on me so didn't take a picture. She was sitting in front of the window as usual waiting for me to open but I called her through the hole in the wall instead and she eventually walked through the tunnel without any problem. My challenge is now to convince her to exit from there as well and use it on a regular basis. We'll get there eventually. Cats are very clever.

The flap is working beautifully! Flossie is a little bit worried about the clicking noise but she has managed to come back into the house through it so I'm sure it will be fine. Ziggie's days of helping himself to Flossie's food are over!!

They refused to go through it at first, in fact one of them seemed to think I had provided a useful window at cat height! At the moment I have wedged it open and they are happily coming through so the next step is to make them push the flap open. Who would have thought it would be so complicated?
